The winners of the 2024 Wainwright Prize, announced on Thursday, are: Michael Malay, for Late Light: The Secret Wonders of a Disappearing World (nature writing); Helen Czerski, for Blue Machine: How the Ocean Shapes Our World (writing on conservation); and Katya Balen, for Foxlight (writing for children on nature and conservation).
