In the latest of Radio 4’s Story of America collection of dramas, marking the 250th anniversary of the United States, Paul Farley offers an adaptation from 3pm today of Walden, Henry David Thoreau’s 1854 memoir of his time living “a simple life” in a cabin in the woods next to Walden Pond in Massachusetts.
