The radio adaptation of Robert Macfarlane’s Underland — one of the books for which earlier this month he picked up the $75,000 Weston International Award for excellence in non-fiction — is, I see, back again on BBC Sounds. There you can also hear his two-part series on his attempt this summer to cross the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye.
Laura Barton’s Down By The River series, in which she explores the waterways of Britain through the BBC archives and new interviews, is also now available again via BBC Sounds.
