It was published last week, but I’ve only just come across a great piece in The New Statesman by Jesse Armstrong, British creator of the HBO drama series Succession, on the risks and rewards of writing about America from the outside. Is it wise, he asks, or even legitimate? Plenty here to ponder for travel writers as well as screenwriters.
